ABOUT
Names are more than labels—they are miniature stories.
PLANèle resonates with the idea that planning isn’t just mechanical—it’s inspired, human-centered, and deeply connected to experience and context.
PLANèle constructs with intent, designs with soul.
Founded by Élaine Legault, a seasoned executive with over 25 + years of experience in event architecture, venue operations, and customer experience, PLANèle helps organisations leverage events to connect in meaningful ways with their stakeholders - building journeys that foster dialogue, engagement, trust, personal transformation and deepened relationships.
As Director then Vice President of Events and Client Experience at the Palais des congrès de Montréal for 17 years, Elaine delivered strategic initiatives that improved client satisfaction and optimized operational performance, overseeing the delivery of some 350 events annually.
Élaine previously spent eight years at Reed MIDEM in Paris, a leading professional event organizer, where she directed educational content and global market development for flagship international conferences, building strategic partnerships and expanding reach across diverse industries.
Élaine's experience encompasses the full event lifecycle—from sourcing and contracting to on-site execution, negotiating with venues and vendors, managing budgets, facilitating B2B interactions, crafting creative storytelling and innovative sponsorship in brand activation.
Recent work includes delivering high-stakes events within tight timelines and on budget, notably the June 2025 G7 Summit in Kananaskis, Canada; and COP15 (United Nations' Biodiversity Conference of the Parties) in Montreal, in December 2022.
"Elaine truly understood the potential of the Kananaskis site to host the 2025 G7 Summit. She created powerful storytelling, letting the nature speak through all the different site activations. The outcome was an intimate, yet inspiring, setting for leaders to engage in frank discussion on pressing global matters. It showcased Canada in a brand-new light, messaging its readiness to take its place on the world stage."
